Are the Answers Your Customers Need on Your Website?

YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVE QUESTIONS, ARE YOU ANSWERING THEM?

Think about the questions people ask before they work with you.

“How much does it cost?” “What’s included?” “How does the process work?”

You probably answer some of these so often that you could do it in your sleep. But are those answers actually on your website? 🤔

It’s easy to leave things out when you know your own business so well. But putting the answers your customers need on your website can make them feel more confident about reaching out.

THIS WEEK'S MARKETING TIP

Turn a real customer question into useful website content.

When someone is considering your business, they’re usually looking for more than a list of services. They want to understand whether what you offer is right for them.

For example, a Pilates studio could answer, “Can I start Pilates if I’ve never done it before?” A website designer could explain, “What do I need to have ready before a website redesign?”

Answering those questions gives people a better idea of what to expect and can make taking the next step feel a little easier.

Try this: ✏️

Choose one question you’re asked regularly. Check whether your website answers it clearly.

If it doesn’t, add the question as a heading on the page where it makes the most sense. Then write a direct, helpful answer underneath, just like you would explain it to a customer.

Be specific. If the answer is “it depends,” explain what it depends on.

Worth a Look

You don’t have to put every answer on an FAQ page.

A question about pricing might belong on your services page. A question about what happens after booking could fit right beside your booking button.

Put the answer where someone is likely to need it.

And there’s a search benefit, too. 🔎 Answering relevant questions clearly can support your SEO (search engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization), helping search engines and AI tools understand your content. No guarantees of showing up, but it’s a useful step that benefits your visitors first.
