You've got their attention. Now what? A Look at Your Customer Journey.

DOES YOUR MARKETING MAKE THE NEXT STEP EASY?
You know when you click on a post because something catches your eye, but then you get to the website and can’t find what you were looking for? 🤦🏻♀️
It’s frustrating, and you probably aren’t going to spend much time searching.
It’s easy to miss those little gaps in our own marketing because we already know where everything is.
This week, let’s take a step back and follow the path someone takes from finding your business to taking that next step.
THIS WEEK'S MARKETING TIP
Follow the path your customer takes.
Imagine seeing an Instagram post about a service you’re interested in. You click the profile, follow the website link, and land on a homepage where that service is nowhere to be found.
Now you’re searching. Or wondering whether you’re in the right place. 😵💫
Each step should follow through on what the previous one promised. If you’re promoting a class, send people to the class details. If your email invites them to book a consultation, link directly to where they can do that.
Try this:
Choose one recent post or email you’ve sent and follow its path as if you were a potential customer.
Does the next page match what caught your attention?
Is the next step easy to find?
You might discover that one small change makes the whole experience easier.
Worth a Look
Your button wording is part of the experience, too.
“View the Menu,” “See Website Packages,” or “Book Your Consultation” gives someone a clearer idea of what happens when they click.
Take a look at one button this week. Could the wording make the next step more obvious?
UNTIL NEXT MONDAY...
